This week virus hunters discovered a malware botnet targeting Mac OS X computers, and have named it the iWorm Botnet. The experts say that about 18,500 Macs are infected. Here’s how to tell if yours is among them.
Open up Finder, and click Go > Go to Folder, and ask to find this folder name, by typing it in and clicking Go:
/Library/Application Support/JavaW
If the folder is not found, you are NOT infected. If you are infected, you can book an appointment at a local Apple Store, or consider installing some anit-virus software to help you remove the worm.
