Votive candle holders:
This can also be done with fall flowers or fall leaves. For this you will need some pressed leaves or flowers (you can press them yourself using a book, steaming iron or other method you see fit), a votive cup, tissue paper, decoupage solution, and foam brushes. Here’s what you do:
1.Tear off the straight edges from the tissue paper and then tear the paper into small pieces.
2.Using the foam brushes, brush the outside of the votive cup with decoupage solution.
3.Arrange the flowers or leaves all around the glass. Brush on more decoupage solution and lay the pieces of paper on the glass, overlapping all the edges. Keep adding paper and decoupage solution until the entire glass is covered.
4.Put a candle in your votive cup and watch its beautiful glow!
Fall Wreath
A fall wreath is a great and easy way to make your home look ready for the change of seasons. You can make a leaf wreath, pine cone wreath, harvest wreath or even berry wreath. It’s up to you to decide the type of wreath. But you’ll need at least 1 grapevine wreath, hot glue, ribbon (of a complementary color to whatever you decide to put on the wreath) and berries, pumpkins, gourds, pine cones, leaves, acorns, or something else that you choose.
Here’s what you do:
1.Using the glue, attach your pumpkins, acorns, etc. to the wreath.
2.Continue placing your accessories on the wreath until you feel it is full enough.
3.Tie the ribbon in a bow at the bottom or the wreath, or wrap it all the way around for a bit of extra color.
4.Hang it on your door or elsewhere with a strong nail.
