Candy Heart Stories

Switch to Desktop/Mobile View

This simple craft is good for those youngsters who are learning to read. If you have several kids you inspire a little competition for who can come up with the best story.

What you will need:

Bags of conversation candy hearts
Glue
Cardstock or other decorative paper
Other art supplies: markers, glitter glue etc.

Instructions for the project: Open the bags of candy hearts and lay them out on the table. Have the kids sort through the hearts and line them up to make a “story”. Glue the conversation hearts onto the paper. After their story is completed they can decorate the edges of the story or even between the hearts. This is a great activity for a class party and the kids can entertain each other by reading their stories when they are finished.
