· Valentine’s Day chocolate color box-This is a simple cut and paste paper craft that works for good “just for fun”, colors practice.
What you will need:
Marker, pens, or crayons
Scissors
Glue
Construction paper in several colors
Instructions for the project: Have the child design an empty heart shaped chocolate box or you can print out a template from the internet. Cut out circles from several different colors (try a rainbow approach) and have the child label each circle. These are your chocolates to glue inside your box.
Tip-Instead of gluing the colors onto the box, put Stamp Glue on the back of the color template pieces and let the children lick and stick the pieces on.
You can also replace the “color chocolates” with chocolate pieces that reflect letters (both upper and lower case), numbers or even shapes.
