Since much of the Old Testament has to do with good vs. evil and Satan plays the role of the snake or serpent. Especially with the story of Adam and Even in the Garden of Even and she being tempted by the “serpent.” Kids love animals, and snakes can be a fun project to get into. One easy and fun idea that most kids can do on their own is a paper chain snake. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Construction paper (different colors as snakes come in many different colors)
- Glue or tape
- Markers
Making a paper chain snake is exactly the same as making a Christmas count down chain. Roll the pieces of paper into a tube shape and glue the ends together. Then take the next paper and stick it through the first making a tube shape and then glue it together. Repeat the process until your snake is as long as you want. Kids can add designs to their snake using markers, as well as adding eyes and scales. The sky’s the limit with how long or how short you can make it.
