There are many different projects that you can do with paper plates. While many parents and teachers are familiar with the paper plate snowman there is now reason to be stuck doing the same old craft from year to year. What you will need:
- Paper plates
- Construction paper
- Cotton balls
- Glue
- Markers or paints
Instructions for the project:
Have the child start by painting a paper plate any skin color and let dry completely. Cut two of the corners off of a large piece of construction paper and glue to one edge of the paper plate with the construction paper on top. This will form the head and coat of the child. You can have the kids glue cotton balls all around the outside of the plate to make the fur of the hood. Draw a face on the plate. Glue buttons on the front of the coat. Add additional decoration as the child wants.
