Halloween is a holiday most kids get really excited about. Why not? They get to dress up, they get to stay up late, and they get to eat candy. So, while you may not need to do much to get them in the spirit and mood of Halloween, a few easy Halloween crafts can never hurt. The following is a look at a few crafts that kids of any ages can do to prepare for Halloween.
Luminiers: These are the simplest, as they really do not require glue, tape, scissors, etc. and thus even small kids can help. To do this craft you will need the following supplies:
- White paper bags
- A bag of sand
- Some tea light candles
- Black permanent marker
- Stencils of Halloween shapes, or a good eye
Instructions for this project:
To do this craft you are going to take your bags and either stencil or draw on some fun Halloween shapes. These can be things like black cats, witches, pumpkins, ghosts, etc. Then open the bag and put an inch of sand in the bottom, and place a tea light candle in the middle. Then on Halloween night, you can line your walk way with your spooky, fun luminiers, and light the candles inside.
