Painted Pumpkin Faces: This is another easy Halloween craft that is going to be simple even for the kids to do, no scissors, knives, or glue involved. For this you will need the following supplies:
- Small or miniature pumpkins
- Pumpkin paint
- Paint brushes or sponges
- A drop cloth
To do this craft you are going to want to sit the kids around a table covered by a drop cloth, and put the pumpkin paints on the table. Give each child a pumpkin, and let them paint a face on the pumpkin, making it as scary or as fun as they want. You can even spice this craft up some by allowing them to use other items, like yarn, paper, etc. to add features such as hair, black withes hats, etc. Give your child the go ahead to let their imagination run wild as they create a pumpkin face to adorn your porch, frighten trick-or-treaters, or decorate the inside of your home.
Lolly pop ghosts: For this activity you will need the following supplies: Lolly pops, the rounded top ones are the best, not the flatter ones. So dum dums, or tootsie pops are best. You will need to have some tissues, like facial tissues, but you can even use toilet paper if you want, however, Kleenex is best. You will want a few permanent markers, preferably black, red, and orange. You will need some black or orange ribbon.
To make this craft you basically take your facial tissue and cover the lolly pop using your ribbon to secure the tissue over the head of the lolly pop. You are then going to take your markers and make ghost faces on the top.
