This is a great spring craft for kids. They will have a blast making it, and it will keep them busy for some time.
What you need:
- Cardboard or heavy cardstock
- Paint
- Google eyes (small)
- Cotton balls
- Construction paper
For this craft you will have the child dip their hand in paint, and make a handprint on a piece of paper. Then, use that as your animal body. Flip the handprint upside down, use their fingers as the legs, and their thumb as the animal tail, and then paint on a little head. Glue on the wiggle or google eyes, and use cotton balls, or strips of construction paper, etc. to make the fur, etc. of the animal of choice. A sheep, lion, etc. all make great handprint animals.
