You could take a picture of the preschooler, and put it under a clear glass rock, use paste to secure it. Then, glue on a magnet to the back. Of course there are many other options. For example, you could make a clay flower and attach a magnet to it. You can make magnets out of just about anything, so let their creative minds determine what kind of magnet they want to make for their mom. They may come up with something great, like a fake flower glued to a magnet for a bouquet for their mom.
