Since summer has the 4th of July as a holiday you should take this as an opportunity to help your kids learn about the United States. Choose a few different flags of the states and place them as templates in the file folder. Then the kids need to work on matching up the flags to their correct states. This also works with countries but it can be harder as you have so many different countries to work with.
