An oatmeal container craft that is sure to please kids at a party is a piñata. Piñatas are usually made out of paper mache and hold candies and other surprises inside. The oatmeal container can easily serve as the container that holds the treats. Add embellishments to the container to make it more festive. You can add features such as arms and legs and make the oatmeal container look more like an animal or other shape. If you want your piñata to be easier to break, cut a zigzag pattern into the oatmeal container before decorating it. This will make the hard cardboard weak enough to break when it is given a good hit with the bat or stick.
