Purchase a solar system mobile set
If you are the type of person who would rather just buy a kit and put it together with your child you can do that too. You can buy solar system kits from museums, school and teacher supply stores, or on the Internet. There are countless variations for the kinds of solar system mobile sets that you can order. There are some that revolve on their own through the use of batteries, some that glow in the dark, some that are large and some that are small. Most sets will include the solar system planets, hanging structures and some method for personalizing the mobile such as paint. Of course instructions will also likely be provided. There is no shame in ordering a kit and personalizing the project by painting. The point is for the children to learn more about the planets and other objects in our solar system. So long as this goal is achieved, it really shouldn’t matter whether or not your mobile is ready for public display.
