You can add dimension to a flat paper bag by stuffing it and using the shape to create a character. One character that you can make by stuffing a paper bag is a whale. All that you do is paint the bag the color that you want your whale to be. Then stuff the bag using scrap paper, fabric, batting, etc. Tie the end of the bag so that none of the stuffing falls out. The portion that is tied off will form the whale’s tail. Add eyes and fins by taping construction paper cut-outs to the bag.
