Center pieces are very versatile. Sure you can use them for your kitchen table, but centerpieces also look great on a coffee table, mantle, side table, buffet, etc. To make one kind of Easter center piece, all that you will need is a plain basket or even a basket designed to be used for Easter. To spruce up the basket, use artificial spring flowers, or if you are feeling adventurous make your own spring flowers out of paper and embellish the basket. Fill the basket with party favors if you are planning an event or with painted wooden eggs. Wooden eggs are actually very easy to find around Easter time and provide the benefit over real eggs of never going bad. You can also make an Easter topiary. Start with the basic topiary base and Styrofoam ball and use candy or small plastic Easter eggs to cover the base of the structure.
