Teenagers enjoy the latest and the greatest things that are available. But sometimes it is the most classic things that they can put a twist on to make more “cool.” Take the standard bean bag for example. Making a bean bag on your own is easy. Simply take two identical pieces of fabric and sew them together on all but one side. Through the hole on the one side fill the bag with beans or rice. The twist on this classic craft is that you can make all kinds of different shaped bags. So long as both the front and the back of the bag are identical and can be sewn together completely the possibility of different shapes is practically endless. Furthermore, these bean bags can also be great heating pads (preferably if filled with rice) by simply putting them in the microwave for a few seconds. Young girls are particularly fond of this craft because of the therapeutic properties that the bean bag can have for them.
